March is Women’s History Month, a good time to celebrate and recognize the achievements of women in our community and beyond. At Aspire Johnson County, we have kept our commitment to support women in business and leadership roles.

On March 5th, we hosted our annual Women Leaders Workshop, a dynamic half-day event featuring industry panelists and speakers training on leadership and career advancement for businesswomen.

These events bring together over 100 businesswomen and community leaders from Central Indiana, particularly Johnson and Marion counties, serving as a powerful forum for mentorship, inspiration, and skill-building at all career stages.

In 2023, we introduced an exciting new initiative: W.I.L.D. (Women In Leadership Development). Aspire did this to facilitate deeper connections and community support among women professionals. W.I.L.D. is a peer networking group designed to encourage and uplift one another while building leadership skills and sharing experiences that enhance both personal and professional growth.

W.I.L.D. complements our Women Leaders Workshops by offering smaller, more frequent leadership skill development. With three events planned for 2025, these gatherings, typically attended by 30-40 professionals, provide an intimate setting for meaningful discussions, resource-sharing, and relationship-building.

Whether through the Women Leaders Workshop or the W.I.L.D. initiative, Aspire is shaping a future where people can confidently lead, innovate, and inspire, regardless of any barriers based on gender.
